Formulation Scientist (m/f) - Research and Innovation
We are seeking a highly motivated Formulation Scientist to join our Research & Innovation department. This role combines hands-on experimental work, data-driven decision-making, and close collaboration within a multidisciplinary and dynamic team.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Actively contribute to scientific research projects by bringing forward innovative ideas and creative problem-solving approaches;
- Plan and execute formulation-related laboratory protocols with scientific rigor, safety, and operational efficiency;
- Analyze, interpret, and critically discuss experimental data to support project decisions;
- Collaborate proactively with cross-functional team members, fostering a positive, supportive, and productive work environment;
- Contribute to scientific documentation, technical reports, and internal or external presentations.
Requirements and skills:
- Academic background in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related fields;
- Experience in Formulation Development and/or applied research in Pharmaceutical Technology;
- Experience with nucleic acids, peptides, antibodies conjugates, and small molecules is highly valued;
- Previous experience with drug delivery systems, namely lipid or polymeric-based is highly valued;
- Proficiency in scientific English, both written and spoken is required;
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other Office tools);
- Critical thinking skills, with the ability to question assumptions and propose well-reasoned improvements;
- Strong scientific curiosity and willingness to remain updated with emerging trends and advances in the field;
- Creativity and the ability to think beyond conventional approaches, combined with rational and thoughtful decision-making;
- High sense of responsibility, ethics, and respect for colleagues and the workplace;
- Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and transparently;
- Interest in multidisciplinary environments and the flexibility to adapt to diverse laboratory challenges.
